Hey guys. I would like to learn some penetration magic to blow people's minds off. I hope you guys can recommend some good ones for me. I know some of them sound too good to be true so I would like to hear from you guys. As you know the principle behind penetration magic, I hope you guys can recommend me some of the 'greenest' if not most impactful.

Also, anybody any comment on Link! by Nabil Murday? I would like to get it.

Crazy Man's Handcuffs, Coin(s) through can/ bottle/ table, Timonthy Wenk's Misled or John Cornelius' Perfect Pen, Ninja Rings, Ring & Rope like Greg Wilson's Ring Leader or the classic by Earl Nelson are all penetration magic effects.

Are you looking at impromptu effects or just general penetration effects?

I dont remember by who but i saw it in the "Criss Angel - Masterminds The DVD Series Vol. 1"

I have this. It is extremely comprehensive on the CMH (crazy man's handcuff). Very nicely explained, and you learn various versions and subtleties (from Michael Ammar and others). I love the no pull variation taught in the DVD from Dean Dill - fools people who think they already know CMH.

How about coin through bottle ABYSS - The Ultimate Coin in Bottle "enchantment" ?

I think you do mean Sinful. It was a trick by Wayne Houchin but also performed by Criss Angel. I would try a coin in bottle. Thanks for you suggestions(:

I have read many positive comments and reviews on this. But I really still want to hear more haha. Anyway I think I am really gonna get this. How much did you get yours? And is it impromptu for most tricks? Or you have to make yourself "green"?

Coin in bottle is great but the "sinful" does not need set up or anything :)

The CMH part is totally impromptu. Linking rings, not impromptu.

I got mine from Magic Boutique, for around 40+ dollars i think.

I've heard good reviews about Abyss too. Seems like a good ffect, but not impromptu. :)

Abyss is not impromptu. this depend on wheather you are "Lazy" to prepare any preparation :D

I'll be releasing a rubber band penetration effect end of this year. I'll post a video of it after my final exams.

A few facts about this effect.
No ITs.
No glues/superglues.
The rubber bands will be visually linked together permantly. You can hand out the linked rubber bands to the audiences for them to inspect. They can take it home as a gift too.

Hope you guys who like penetration effects will like it.

I will recommended you to do Criss Angel's "quarter through Can" for your first penetration trick, the reason is because it's so easy to do, no gimmik, and blow people's mind.

Also, it allows people to check afterward!!

For Penetration, I like Scarabaeus. Borrowed Handphone into Borrow mineral water bottle effect. The proceed to cut the bottle open with a knife to take the handphone out. No set up, just need a small gimmick. Can also be done using multiple coins or any object that is smaller then width and length of the borrow bottle.

hey joel, I love that trick as well. I wanted to buy it last month because of the promotion Ning had. But in the end i didnt. It's a little pricey and its one trick afterall. Also, I wonder if you will flash the gimmick and whether is it a hassle to bring it around. It is really the best penetration effect someone could ever witness.

With regards to the "Link!" DVD, its just my personal opinion, but i think if you are getting it to learn how to link rubberbands, its quite a waste. I thought the technique used is very impractical.

Unless you are getting it to learn more about CMH or how to get in the position of CMH, i won't recommend you to get "Link!" for linking rubberbands.

P.S. To me Ammar's variation of CMH is one of the best Penetration Effect.

I got the Link! DVD already. Well, I benefit from learning the Band It Moves and variations. Indeed the linking rubber bands illusion is very impractical with the gimmick. However, the sad thing is that I have not been able to get hold of the gimmick. So I cannot even practise or find a 'fitting' for it.

CMH is a great effect, but its sad that the secret is pretty well known or exposed. I have classmates who know the secret by "the YOU know what way".

And I don't know if anybody experience this. Sometimes when I do CMH, people like to give the 'i know' attitude. They will just say you switch finger very fast and be not impressed.



As for Sinful, I do not like the effect at all. Yes it may be impromptu, but you are 'not green' along the way.

You mean "clean" all the way?

Unless your spec would suddenly snatch the can from your hands, I don't see any problem.

My personal opinion.

Ammar's version might be more difficult if you don't do it well. But CMH is one of the few moves nobody can figure out unless they already know the secret. Maybe thats just my opinion.

Big action covers small action. It helped me alot when i pull harder while doing the move.
