Can someone do a review of either/both these books?
"The Art of Eddie Joseph" by Eddie Joseph
and/or
"Ah Ha!" by David Harkey & Eric Anderson
For The Art of Eddie Joseph, i am looking specifically at the effect Yogi's Gaze, where a newspaper spontaneously burst into flames.
And for Ah Ha!, I'm looking at the matches that self ignite effect.
Are these good/viable/performable effects? In Singapore? And is the rest of the books good as well?
Cheers
From what I know it is hard to control the flame cos of "the technology" u use and the kind of paper that combust perfectly. Maybe by checking other magician doing it such as Ted Lesley under "bloodfeast of the sun" u can get more idea.
P.S.: I ever saw this trick done by a street peddlar selling medicine at China Town.
(Have to wait more than 1 hour to see his performance.)
Yes, i read abt the the problems people have with Yogi's Gaze in Magic Cafe too.
I'm wondering is the rest of the book worth anything if these 2 methods turns out to be junky? I'm not counting on getting money back for just these 2 effects.
hihi,
i think it's worthwhile to invest in "Ah Ha!" by David Harkey & Eric Anderson, I do not have d book, but i got d book, 'simply harkey' by david harkey........man, this guy really thinks out of d box.....berry creative.......i think u can't go wrong with so many effects in his book ^_^
