Xtreme - January 28, 2005 10:00 AM (GMT)
Anybody know where to purchase spoons and forks for silverware bending? I would like to get cheap ones and fairly weaker in material. Cant seem to get them in bulks. Anybody know where to get them? :( cause i break forks often.. LOL..

It cost around RM0.50 for fork/Spoon in JB bu it can cost $0.45cts in Singapore. U can try Beach Road Old shop near the hawker centre - They r the importers for china good or at North Bridge Rd near to China Town. I do not know the address.

I too need forks. Why not just ask around who else needs forks and spoon then buy it all together? :)

Magicdow - January 28, 2005 03:37 PM (GMT)
Parsar Malam has those cheap spoons. Soft and cheap. You can find those "$1" shop in residential areas. These shops sells all sorts of stuff.

Just go to a ''rojak'' shop that sells almost everything, that kind of crammed up shops. I got mine for 30 cents each. Cheap eh?
Haha, i usually test them sneakily and put them back again.

Go Chinatown buy the Triangle brand 301 fork. So far its the best i work with. It look fairly strong but u still can do the bend quite easy on them. There is a thread on this before, u can go find it. Ning has this spoon which give the impression of being strong and not cheapo looking but upon examinig it , it is very bendable. You got to ask her where she get it.

Anyway my school canteen use exactly the same fork, so when i need some spare fork, i just "borrow" from them :)

Winder - January 29, 2005 01:33 AM (GMT)
Yea ~ Go ahead to Chinatown and buy it, they are cheaper at there rather than those hardware store which sell around $5 ~ $7 a dozen when maybe you can get a dozen for around $3.5 ~ $4 or lesser. Not sure you have to check, and before you perform read up the word behind the spoon or forks which say "Stainless STEEL".

Good luck in finding the shop. :)

Eh eh...harlo...since when I told you to get your own forks? And what makes you think I'll give you a broken fork?

I'll help you get them... Except I'll charge you interest, service and transportation fees...hahaha.

Btw, don't you have spoons at home that you can use? I remembered we used to have quite a few "bendable" silverware right?
