Stolen Cards by Lennart Green

Got a set from the man himself when he came to Singapore of a tour.
I like it tremendously and I would like to share this will all in the café.
The picture you see below is taken when Lennart was here about a month ago.

The effect:
The magician introduces an interesting deck of playing cards-one with 52 different back designs. Two of these cards are placed face up on the table, let’s say the jack of hearts and the seven of clubs each deck is different. The spectator now takes the deck and deals the cards into a face-down pile on the table, stopping anywhere he likes. The spectator has an absolutely free choice of where to stop the deal. One of the face-up cards is now dropped on top of the dealt pile and the rest of the cards are dropped on top, burying it somewhere in the center.
The spectator now deals again, stopping anywhere he likes, and the remaining face-up card is dropped on top of the dealt pile, which is in turn covered with the balance of the deck. The deck is now spread the two face-up cards are slid out along with the face down card that lies next to each. These two cards are turned face up and they MATCH the face-up cards! The cards are now turned face down and the backs match as well! Wait, there’s more! For the killer finish, the deck is spread face up to reveal it consists of all tens of diamonds!

Price: US$20
Comes complete with a custom ‘Rainbow Deck’ and Lennart's ultra-commercial presentation!

Available at: MagicSmith $20/ Hocus Pocus $19.95

Likes:
a) Easy and Self-Working. No sleight involved. Simple reset in 2 seconds.
B) The effect builds up over 4 phases and each phase seems to be more impossible.
c) A very visual and amazing effect for the audience.
d) The audience can handle the cards if you want to.
e) Very nice assortment of cards used. It’s a joy just looking at them.

Dislikes:
- Nothing so far.

Presentation experience:
a) I did this in one of my table hopping projects, trust me, it really screw up their minds
B) Your presentation is very important (like all magic). I modified Lennart’s patter to suit our context.

For who:
a) Cardgicians
B) Beginners of card magic
c) Table-Hoppers

Not for...
a) Stage magicians
B) Magicians who do not like Cards

Overall rating, I will give it a 5 out of 5. Strongly recommended!

I disagree. I hate cards but man, I love this effect. Carry it with me all the time. This is an idiot-proof trick.
