Title: Rubber Bands

Where can I buy size 19 rubber bands locally ?

I know this reply does not answer your question, but most if not all of the time, it doesn't HAVE to be size 19 rubber bands. Size 19 rubber bands were popularized in America (where they can buy size 19 rubber bands easily) and it caught on as they were mentioned in DVDs etc.

Work with a size you're comfortable with and you'll be fine for most if not all rubber bands effects (can't think of one right now that specifies it HAS to be size 19 to work).

I agree with AdrianLee. I have a friend who stays away from size 19 rubberbands in fact. Because his hand size is too small and he likes the tension of slightly smaller rubberbands.

But if you really want, search around for some online shops, i'm sure they have the ones you need.

Maybe the question is: WHY do you need size 19 rubber bands specifically?

I thought that is the size to work with , because it is mentioned in dvds. I tried working with the normal ones that is available commonly in Singapore but the elastic factor is lesser . So I thought that the size in important .

I feel each one of us got our own preference.

As for where to get different size of rubber bands. First there is no "small" shops that sells rubber band, though i know there is one that sells plastic products. But if you are thinking of buying a 1000 pieces, like maybe 20 over dollars, there are rubber product manufacturing company that does that.

Size 19 can then be got easily, so I suggest you look for a few friends and then go look around.

If you are only trying out rubber band magic, then i suggest you play around with the existing ones around you before you embark, or else you might end up having tons of rubber bands which you won't use.

You can always try Daiso for the rubberbands.

They also sell coloured rubber bands.

It is located @ VivoCity, Plaza Singapura, IMM... Not very sure if there is still any.
