Description: Where to get suitable watches

joeltay81 - November 12, 2008 04:25 AM (GMT)

Does anyone know where to get good and cheap watches suitable for this trick? The current watch I use does not work. If you know of any, do let me know the model name (engraved at the back of the watch) and where to get it.

Thanks,
Joel Tay

Just found out that one of the watch in the video is CASIO MQ-24. The cheap black plastic one. You can use any watch but this will be a cheap alternative if you plan to give watches away. On Ebay, this watch sells for $11 or $12 before postage. (Or maybe you can just go to the pasar malam nearby and get a cheaper one).

More update on this amazing trick.

You can get $5 plastic watches at sun plaza (besides Sembawang MRT). There is a second hand shop there.

For the 'suckers" (you will only know what I am talking about if you have the trick), you will need small ones. Big ones do not work well on watches with small faces. [mods... this is not a bad word. Do not ban me. ] :P

hmm, i think generally any cheap watch that fits the criteria should be able to do it. I'm using my long wasted watch to perform this trick.

Out of the 4 watches I tried, only one was suitable for the preparation. If buying watches for performances, be sure to but watches ahead of time and test first.
