Title: Factory Sealed Bottle Brand
Description: What Brand should I use?
ghostace94 - December 20, 2008 02:47 PM (GMT)
Hi, I have recently learned factory sealed but I can't find any mineral water bottle suitable to do the trick. Any suggestions on what bottle brand I can use?

What are the bottles you have tried so far?

I tried cheap NTUC bottles, Ice mountain, Evian and a few others I can't remember. Pink Dolphin Bottles can work but its not mineral water.

I have this effect, but haven't really tried it out yet. I will go buy a few different brand of bottles and see if it works. Arrowhead isn't available in Singapore?

| Ghostace, care to intro? |
I thought I introduced already in the "Intros and Hellos" section?
I can't find arrowhead anywhere in Singapore, I'm now telling a friend who is going to America to help me buy arrowhead bottles. But the problem is that the trick is more effective if you give the bottle to your audience to examine and they can keep it if they want, and since I only going have a limited amount of bottles, I won't be doing the trick for a while until: 1) I found a bottle that is suitable for factory sealed or 2) Import from America.

I think I know what is your problem. Anyway, I have an alternative not regarding the bottle. If you want to know PM me. The concept is from Abyss Coin In Bottle From Enchantment.

Here is another alternative.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4VI3vJCm-wSealed & Stuck can be done with almost any bottle.
And unlike Factory Sealed, Sealed & Stuck allows you to give the bottle to the audience in its factory sealed state with the coin inside it.

Today I bought a bottle from a random shop for flow, the brand is cactus and it looks like its sealed when you close it. This may be good for factory sealed except when you open it, there is no cracking sound normally made when you open a bottle. It might works if I got a accomplice opening another bottle while I'm opening a cactus bottle but it won't sound real...
I checked out a magic shop today. The shopkeeper said something about a bottle resealer. I was wondering where I could get that...

I think it would be best if the audience can feel that the bottle is really factory sealed, instead of only hearing the cracking of the bottle. The effect would be much stronger.

I have never heard of such a thing as bottle resealer. But if you are looking for ways to hand out a real factory sealed bottle with a coin inside it, you can check out Sealed & Stuck. Hope that helps.

If you convert it to SGD it should be around SGD$35. However, it will only be $30 for all SMC members. =)
