Magic Boutique presents a full day of magic, illusion & fun at The Arena @ Clarke Quay.

This event is open to the public and will feature free Parlor Magic performances, Stage Magic shows, Street Magic Workshop, discounted magic DVDs, tricks, props, books and more!

1.30pm: Special Session with J C Sum & ‘Magic Babe’ Ning (TICKETED EVENT)

* Master Lecture by J C Sum “Urban Classic Magic"
* Deadly Sexy Magic Showcase by ‘Magic Babe’ Ning
* Participants will also have the first priority to buy discounted magic items

3.30pm: OPEN TO PUBLIC & FREE
Sale of Discounted Magic Items (On-going)

4.00pm: Parlor Magic Show by J C Sum, Bob Chua and Matthew Lee

5.00pm: Beginner Street Magic Workshop

6.00pm: Stage Magic Show by John Teo, Kinetic Gal and Larry the Escape Guy

6.30pm: Dinner Break

7.30pm: Ultimate Magic Season II (TICKETED EVENT)

8.30pm: End

The free performances look interesting, and i do hope to pick up some good stuff too. The lecture details looks promising too, i think i might be heading down for the lecture. :)

Eh.. Ticketed session i think you can buy off from www.magicboutique.sg . I think the free sessions all we do is to turn up with our 'cute' face if that's how you put it. LOL.

I'm looking forward to watching the free Parlor Magic Show and getting some of the discounted Magic DVDS man. Anyone else coming along? Maybe should meet up first. :D

Luckily Mabas posted here again... I nearly forgot about this. Saw it way too long ago. Just went to check out the website for this again and noticed new details about the lecture posted there. J C's going to teach his Miser's Dream techniques!

I think i'm going to just buy the tickets now. Tickets at the door are more expensive!

Thanks for posting about Magic Day! :) Yea! Magic Day is just 3 days away, and we have loads of stuff lined up for the day. Items are going at real huge discount (even i raised my eyebrows when i saw the pricetags Ning wrote) and of course, we have free performances and workshop lined up as well.

In case you didn't know, IBM will also be having a booth on the day at Arena, so if you've been wondering about how/where to join a magic club, swing by and talk to the IBM peeps at the booth. They are real wonderful people with passion for the art!

One of the two ticketed segments, the special session with J C and Ning (lecture + performance) is from 130pm to 330pm, so people who have bought tickets do come by punctually! This is limited seating so tickets are moving fast already. 2nd part of the segment is Ultimate Magic: Season 2. Of course, the new season is up to 40% different from the preview, and with the ultra discount pricing of $20/tix, it's definitely going to be worth checking out! :)

In case you just caught this and is still thinking of coming down for the special session, tickets are available at the door still (pending availability)... 330pm onwards is free (just registration at door) so do swing down if you're interested!

I realise this is a bit late, but we were really busy with the backends and the stuff. Would like to take this chance to thank all of you who were there at Magic Day @ The Arena! I spotted some of you there but was unfortunately either too busy to talk or in a bunch of nerves (awaiting performance time) ...
