I shall not post the contents here as it is very long, people interested can find out yourself.
The Review
Pardon me as i viewed this DVD quite sometime ago so i will just review on what is taught. If I left out anything else, sorry.
- The CMH
This is the very first thing you will learn, if you already know how to do the CMH, you can skip this part. The method is rather brilliant and you will need practice to make it look perfect.
- Micheal Ammar's variation
Ammar's variation is not really a variation but something you add before you show the bands have melted. It is the moving left and right as everyone knows.
- Dean Dill's no pull method
Dean Dill will show you the no pull method first and then tell you why he came up with it and teaches you. The method is easy but rather angly. However, I suppose it does fool people if you get it right. Be sure to review it again and again as you will need to figure out the angles yourself and to get it right.
- Dave Womach's variation
This is just about getting the bands to melt through one strand at a time and its absolutely optional whether you choose to perform it. Nothing new except the concept.
-Band It Moves
the CMH is about getting the bands to melt through each other and the Band It Moves simply is the opposite. You get the bands in together.
There are several variations taught and if my memory did not fail me, about five variations are taught.
There is a few that you have to watch your angles and practise to get it right. Anyway, you will not use all variations I suppose, just pick a few and master it. I personally uses only one.
-Linking Bands and rings
Nabil shows you the gimmick that creates the ultimate illusion for the linking bands and rings. He goes through on two setup and advices. Once you know what is the gimmick, practically you will know what to do. He will go through on ultilising the gimmick for the illusion and he also teaches a variation of linking rings that uses a H. Ring and tells you what you can do to introduce the H. Ring.
-Bonus
Nabil will teach you two impromptu effects with rubberband. The Jumping Rubberband and the Broken and Restored Rubberband. Two great effects but you will need to practise on the B & R Rubberband.
Teaching
The teaching by Nabil is great. All the impromptu effects of the bands were taught with a thick band and a thin one of different colour so you will not be confused about how the bands are going. Nabil goes through everything in detail and gives you alot of tips on what to do and what not to do. Fantastic teaching. The only slightly bad will be on the Dean Dill no pull variation. Dean Dill only goes through the method and it is not taught again by Nabil.
Recommended?
This is recommended for people interest in the CMH and Band It Moves. They are all impromptu. The slightly down side of the DVD is when it comes to the gimmicked effects. The gimmick I have not been able to get hold and setting up would take much effort. This is quite impractical and practice I suppose is a must in front of mirrors.
The DVD is around 2 hours long.
I give 7 out of 10 stars only.

Just wanted to add that even though Dean Dill's no pull variation is purely taught by him, personally i liked it a lot. And i thought it was good for learning. It killed people who thought they knew how the CMH was done.
I never liked the gimmick part though. There is one fundamental thing that gives it away if you're doing rings, never mind the practicality. I showed my friends the performance vid part, some of them noticed the inconsistency.
That said, I'd put in my two pence with MagicialLobo that i would still recommend it. It is worth the price itself, as a very comprehensive DVD on CMH. I do like the subtleties and other pointers given in the DVD though at times i thought it could get a little dry on the same topic for a long time.

Hello , I will like to know that do the Dvd come with the gimmick itself or do I need to make it myself?
MagicalLobo - January 30, 2009 08:30 AM (GMT)
You have to make the gimmick yourself. If you are interested in the gimmicked linking bands, there is a new version Link 2.0 by Lincoln. Just some extra info and options for you. I have not tried the new version.

Okay , thanks :D I am not so interested in the linking of rubber bands but I am interested in the linking of rings that is taught in the Dvd :D
MagicalLobo - January 30, 2009 09:23 AM (GMT)
If you are linking 2 rings minimum, you can just make the gimmick.
If you are thinking of linking 3 rings, you will need a classic gimmick that you have to buy.
You can also link ring on rubberband and paperclip on rubber band with self made gimmick.
The teaching on linking rings is not thorough on Link!. You should find other resources.

Okay , thanks MagicalLobo :D
I will also like to know that if you link the 2 rings together already, can you hand it out for checking?
Do you know any other Linking Rings Dvd that you can tell me about?

I have PM-ed you on this.
