Title: St*****r D***

long83 - January 22, 2009 12:07 PM (GMT)
Hi I got a st*****r d*** some time back but haven been playing around much with it because i was learning some manipulations on normal cards. Recently I have been turning my attention to it to vary the items I am dealing with although it still is primarily cards. lol. Have a question with regards to the handling of the cards.

I realise that handling the card esp. when you are drawing a chosen card from the deck can look very suspicious. I have been exploring ways of how I can extract the card without it looking too suspicious, but still feel that the ways i devised look suspicious. Any tips on how to handle it so that it is not so suspicious looking?

Hope this topic is placed under the correct section. Thanks. =)

I have what you've got as well and just got it awhile back. I've performed with it 3 times.

To find a chosen card, I think just by taking it out is too dull. You should do a triumph with this, as it is wonderful to find a chosen card that way. Of course you may be worried about having to do the secret move and raises suspicious. There is two ways I do it and I hope it may help you abit.

The first way is to tell them I'm going to do several cuts and it is when I do the 'supposed cuts' Im doing my secret move.

The second way is to do a table riffle shuffle as it assist your secret move. Do the table riffle shuffle after your first mixed shuffle (shuffling faceup into face down) and showing them its all messed up. You should realised that while doing table riffle shuffles you actually make the secret move much easier because you are already st****ing. That is just something I realise. Experiment with that.

Should you not want to do a triumph routine, you can cut to the selected card

OR

(something I just came up with this instant)
Get a p***ie b***k which i'm sure should be quite easy with the application of your tool and then deal face down until their card and flip it over. Patter that you can read and tell the fingerprints on the card OR that you can paranormal connections.

Hope I helped.

I thought the instructions teaches you the Hindu shuffle.

Anyway, Hindu shuffle is the way the go for this deck.

If I not wrong, Encylopedia of Card Tricks teaches many applications for the deck. Check it out.

There is even 1 DVD that's solely devoted to it, but I forgot the title. You can google it.

Not sure if its a hypothetical question you are asking but,

I think you can get those at the dealer you got your dvd from.
