Title: Tl's
Description: The dreaded ( for me ) move

The t***** li**.

I cant really do it properly, as the bottom card tends to slide out.

It's sometimes used in ACR...so ( as I am learning it now ), any tips?

Well, you can probably get some advice when you come for the SMC gathering. It's difficult to give you any advice without knowing what method you are using for that.

But you can try troubleshooting it yourself, if the bottom card slides out, then ask yourself when does it not slide out? Why does it not slide out? Alter your handling accordingly if it's better.

In the meantime, have fun practising, it does take long to get certain techniques down at times so don't rush into it.

IMO, a TL is pretty much the same as a DL. So if you are able to DL, don't see why you can L a T? (wow..) Just a difference of 1.

Agree with muscleaxl that TL is pretty much the same as DL. You need practise to make it really nice but doing a TL really takes more guts than a DL, IMO. Like chizzie said, the bottom card may slide. I seldom do a TL unless its ACR and i practise alot.

Chizzie, try to be more cautious about the turning over of the TL, set it down on the deck before taking your hand away. A DL you can let go when it is about 25% away from the deck and it will drop nicely, but a TL cant.

Hey guys,

I think the discussion of techniques should be restricted to gatherings when you know you're talking to another fellow practitioner. That's why muscleaxl asked Chizzie to come to the gathering.

Open discussions on technique invariably lead to some exposure. Let's face it - it doesn't take a genius to figure out what you're referring to in spite of all the abbreviations... :)

So COME DOWN TO OUR GATHERINGS FOR SOME SERIOUS DISCUSSIONS!

woops. Ok. Good point.

Maybe we should restrict some parts of the forum for recognized members, like people who go for gatherings etc. I am not one, for instance. ( though I am gonna be)
