Hi,
does anyone here has a way of holding their flash paper, so that during their performance, they do not need to
- reach in their pockets
- take out a box with flash paper
- carefully taking only one piece?
I tried a design that strings the pieces together so during the performance i can attach it to a lapel and pull off one. But that doesnt seem the best way.
Anyone?
Hmm,
I remember there is a box or holder that is for cards, it got a steel that acts as a pressure to the cards. So you can look out for those, slot a thick card into it, then slot your papers. With trial and error, you can get the feel of sliding out 1 sheet at a time.
Another way that I thought of, but super lame, will be using post it notes. The thin version, the top piece, u open up a little, and slot your paper in, press down and the little sticky side should stick onto the flash paper. Then continue on alternating with a few post it notes inbetween, so it kinda of seperate the sheets. So when u going to use it, first, clip the post it notes or slot into your pocket. With some pressure downwards and a jerk to the flash paper, it should come out easily.
I hope these crazy ideas give you some inspiration.
Hey Larry
Thanks for the suggestions. I think the second one will work. Have to test run it first. Thanks for the idea.
Infact I was thinking of those 3M notes that are pulled out from a holder. If I could devise an item like that, that will be so much more convinent.
Thanks again. Will let you all know!
