Title: G****** Singapore Coins!
LoyaLover - February 5, 2009 10:05 AM (GMT)
http://forums.singaporemagiccircle.com/ind...hp?showtopic=29I chanced upon this topic not too long ago and I hope that it is alright that im starting a new one. But this topic would be solely for the various G****** Singapore Coins.
The one i want the most would be a 50 cents jumbo coin followed by a f***ing coin.
Is there anyone who find it practical? Anyone has it, and who may want to sell it off?
Do let me know the market pricing. Thanks so much!

To add on, anyone knows if there is a production of a Singapore coin b**e?
Thanks

A jumbo 50 cents coin is definitely a kicker ending. I don't usually perform my one coin routine, but whenever I do, I make sure I end it off with my jumbo 50cents. It is visual and people will go crazy over it. Some are even convinced that it really changed from big to small. Whenever I show my friends coin tricks using 50cents coin, I would make it a point to end it off, somehow or rather, with the jumbo 50cents. So far everytime they see it, even though is not the first time seeing the jumbo coin, it never fail to make them go 'Wow' again. My point is, the sudden appearance of the jumbo coin is just too hard for them to resist not to be amazed.
I do use the half dollar jumbo too, but it isn't as strong. So the Singapore jumbo coin is definitely a good investment.
However, the problem with this is that it is hard to find firstly. Not many people around whom I know are selling nowadays. Secondly, I have to warn is that it doesn't come cheap. I guess it is rare because you can't manufacture such coin since it is illegal. And if you were to make from other country and bring it over. You can imagine all the cost invovled.

Hey, I know that is this place selling Singapore $1 coin b**e. Im not sure whether they are still in the store now because the last time I went to this place was at least 1 year back.
You can try your luck at this shop, it is not exactly a magic shop, more of a shop that sells party stuff. But they do sell some magic stuff there such as bicycle and some gimmicks. It is located somewhere inside lucky plaza (orchard).
But their stuff is not cheap I have to tell you before hand. Even bicycle there can cost so much more. I checked before the price of this $1 b**e out coin, you will be amazed by the price. I strongly suggest, think twice before you want to commit to one.

I'm also thinking of ordering some G****** Singapore 20cents coins. But is it more recommendable to make $1 coins instead? Was thinking of ordering 1 expanded s**** coin, 1 f***ing coin and 2 m******* coin.

Well, it is not that easy to find Singapore gaff coin around. If you know to get those, do share your source. I am sure everyone here are more than interested to know where to get them.
As for making them, it is not easy and cheap too.
Whether to have them in $1, 50cents or 20cents would entirely be up to you. If you are more comfortable with doing magic with 20cents why not. Hence there is no recommendation I would say, is more of individual.

I only know of sleights that can be more effectively executed with larger coins. So i would say that the larger the better. If you noticed for coin b*** or j**** they are more often than not for Singapore 50 cents.
Even if you happen to be doing tricks that makes no difference in executing it with different coin sizes, larger coins are more visual. Aint just an excuse for using half dollars, but coins that are too small are harder to see and spectators would be more suspicious of you having hid it somewhere.
I think for f***** go for a 50 cent coins. And for s**** etc, if you are thinking about doing a copper sliver routine, think about it, and decide if you should go for a copper dollar coin g******* or a sliver 50 cents g******
Lastly, if you happen to have any source, i'd been quite keen to know about it!

Actually I got the source from the previous gaff coins discussion thread
http://www.roykueppers.com/I've enquired about the price. S**** is $60, f***ing is $35 and m******* is $50, all in USD.
The reason I want a $1 s**** is to do the coin swapping trick that Cyril performed. A $1 s**** and 20cent coin should work perfectly.

Wow, that was a good source. But it is going to cost you a bomb. Maybe what you can do is to find some people, come together and order in bulk.
He might just give you a discount for that. Or maybe, find other manufacturers in country like china, taiwan. (Of cause, this would require some connection). Can reduce your cost for sure.

Be careful, they are illegal.

Ya be warned, gimmick Singapore coins, are not real coins. In Singapore this is not accepted by the law, hence illegal. Unlike in other country like the states. So you might want to be careful on this.
