I love Scotch & Soda, magnetic Scotch & Soda, U3F and hopping halves.

The shell and flipper coin have been very good to me since I bought them last year. Don't do much with them now, but they used to be KILLERS with 3-fly effects

The Jumbo coin also has done me well. I bring it everywhere I go :D

I used to like hopping halves. Never got to own the gimmicked version so I just do the ungimmicked impromptu version.
The problem with gimmick coin tricks is your using US currency and people will tend to suspect its a gimmick straight on. Hence, we shld persuade the govt to allow gimmick singapore coins to be produced.

I have the Scotch and Soda got it when i 1st started magic.
Cos it look amazing. Sigh the temptations of anyhow buying stuff the moment u get impressed.

I think somewhere in this forum there's a link or 2 for magic coin smiths that can make gimmick coins using SG currency <wink> who needs the gov permission for that? There are already several SG bite/fold coins around already... have fun! B)

actually, you can get gimmicked singapore coins like the shell coin in singapore. you've got to order them from AMN. but I am not sure how much they cost..

i think the best is scotch and soda.. I saw the gimmick.. and till today find it one of the cleanest coin gimmick. Kinda like it.. But didn't buy.. lols

yes, scotch and soda is a very strong effect which ends clean! and many effects can be done using it!

most importantly,its an easy trick.everyone can do it! (:

i would start my routine with scotch and soda. after the trick, i'll let the spectator examin the coins, and do a switch to the folding coin. while performing the folding coin, my other hand is free and i reach into my pocket for the scotch and soda's half dollar, and after the coin bite i'll do a s***** again and the coin can once again be examined.

sometimes, when theres a large crowd, i would also prepare hopping halves in my pocket as well, saying: "remember these two coins which i used just now?"

its funny when this happens:

dtjk: ok i'm gonna take the silver coin out and put it in my pocket. whats in my hand?

spectator: oh, same trick? its the silver coin!

One of My favorites is the Cigarette through Quarter. I have also had very strong reponse to the Half dollar in the bottle.

I've got the Flipper coin recently during the convention.

And I like the effects. After I finish, I'll just cleanup with a s****** of the original half dollar.

Most of my friends will 'flip' too. Lolz!! ;)

I love C/S/B...I have crazy versions and super easy versions...it's just extremely fun!! It's really magical as well.

yeap, sherman's recent c/s/b routine is quite kickass. wait, it was c/s/b right? i remember a copper, silver, and a chinese coin...?

anyway, for table effects i love my new sh*** which i use for a few effects these days, like coins thro table... no jerome, i'm not showing off. ok, maybe i am... :)
