Hahah! Considering the average age group of the people in SMC, i dare bet most hasn't even heard of this movie.... :lol:
It was one of the "definitive" tear jerkers in the early 90s/late 80s i think. The scene where he rides the bike and having blood dripping from his nose onto her white gloved hands has been spoofed countless times. -_- Looks like our Mister Yujie is quite a hopeless romantic to be looking for this one B)
I dun think you will be able to find it in most VCD shops in singapore, it would probably be in VHS if available at all. Your best bet is buying from HK or China internet sites.

P.S. When this movie was showing, cinemas are still using crayon to draw on pink slips of papers as tickets ^_^

Yah... super old movie.... hahaha... I'm trying to recall when I last saw it... :P

You might try TS and see if they got or not... I get the feeling they may have..... though its extremely old.

On the other hand, you can ask them if they can get a hold on that movie for you. If they can, you might be able to get it cheaper than online.

Oh, i have an idea.....
Approach MediaCorp and see if they would sell you a copy or something?
I'm not sure how things work with that but i'm pretty certain they would have something in their archives...

i dont think their format will be compatible with any of the commercially available players...

Try searching it at library@esplanade, if it's a classic film. B) They should have it. Although you have to be a premium member.

Yujie, when you finally meet your goal in getting onto a bike and having haemoglobin oozing out of your orifices, do try your best to ooze some machismo as well, yeah? That's the reason why Lau Tahk Wah is da Heavenly King. You don't wanna end up being the Stretcher King before this fiasco of over-zealous idolisation is over. :lol:

Don't know about white gloves, but I've got a pair of black leather gloves from my heydays as a biker.

And as for your movie, forget about it. Go to Traffic Police and watch a video on road safety instead. But if you really wanna find it, I would suggest you look out for those old school shops renting Chinese drama series and such. They usually stock up on old Hong Kong movies.
