Hey Guys! Was reading up on my Bobo Coin Book just now. Got to know how the coin box works and was very impressed with the idea. Although I knew it existed but was never bothered with how it works or working with it. It is a great tool and am looking forward to adding it in my repertoire. However, I am not very familiar with the different kinds of coin boxes in the market.
I was hoping I could be enlightened with what is the different between Okito and Boston exactly. And what is Slot boxes?
Lastly, are Tango's good enough? (although they are cheap)
Should the replies involve major exposure, please PM me.
Thanks alot!
I'm a little confused too. As far as i know Boston coin box supposingly gives the impression of a full box - Okito coin box cannot do that. I think. Maybe the coin guys can help here. :)
The difference would lead to exposure. Pm you instead.
Tangos are ok. The weight is not bad but I don't quite like the design. I like the Buddha boxes more as the weight and design is very good but some moves like rim steel is slightly more difficult to do.
If you are thinking of getting a coin box, I recommend the Buddha coin boxes, they have a good range, from Okito, Boston, sucker, slot, plug and even magnetic coin boxes. They come Brass or stainless steel. You can always start with a Okito and if it suits you, then you can get the rest.
Tango has a box that I think is not being produced by others. This is the Boston slot box which is a combination of a slot and Boston box, pretty cool box.
I use a Johnson Box always have and most likely always will ... I have a published routine in my lecture notes that uses four coins and one box to demonstrate how a magician would "Think outside the Box"
If you are interested please pm me I can get you the info.
