Title: Cny Plans???
Description: What you gonna do in CNY to kill time?

Yay! The time has come, for us to collect easy cash!
So what are your plans to kill boredom during long and monotonous visits? Perform something to freak your irritating young cousins or nephews out? Zone yourself out with some old old Hongkong action and lame-a** movies? Gamble and swindle everyone with some gambling rountines? Do coin manipulations with those already melting chocolate coins? Play PS2 or Xbox and destory your thumbs (ahem, you can use TT for a reserve!)? Or try to socialise with those relatives who you didn't even seen before?

LOL... If everyone is feeling so bored, we can always have a gathering during CNY.
Anyway, though sometimes CNY is might appear boring, its a good time to meet up with relatives which you might not meet the rest of the year. In a way, its an important part of chinese culture I think.
Didn't always used to think this way though. Perhaps we only start appreciating out relatives when we get older.
And besides, if you are bored, you can always bring something to perform for your younger relatives! Great opportunity for practice don't you think?

Actually, i quite like CNY generally, esp reunion dinner and spending time with family, i love that. B)
And the general CNY festive mood is kinda...erm....cute, in a way when you try to see it with a "looking in" mentality. With everything decorated in red and gold and cheesy CNY songs playing everywhere, it's really quite cute and funny when u think about it.
It's kinda like a fancy dress party? It's rather silly and doesn't really make sense, but heck, everyone's doing it and you don't do it all the time so just join in. B)
What i DO HATE, is visiting distant relatives I cannot stand and still putting on my brightest smile and making small talks when we have absolutely nothing in common. UGH! They cannot pay me enough for that. :ph43r:
Maybe i should start practising s****d deal and rip them off at the table.
Luckily, it's just a handful of them and the rest is all good. B)

I'm going to do Resurrection Soda and Voodoo ash! Maybe disappearing hangbaos (cousins') act. And Card in Mandarin oranges. B)
Seems to be quite fun!
