Honestly, your question will not fetch a useful or valid answer. You should ask yourself that question instead of other people.
Firstly, this is your idea which other people might not have thought of so you cannot expect others to answer your question considering the fact not everyone here knows the method. You should create your own card to matchbox with your current knowledge or seek further knowledge. You should make it possible yourself instead of asking people if it is possible. Then the effect and method you use will be 'youniquely' yours.
Secondly, if anyone were to give you a solid valid answer as to how to change it to putting the matchbox, they will be giving away the method(secret) I suppose.

You can really have a card to anywhere. What makes Tommy Wonder's card to ringbox different from others is the subtlety and finnese involved. And if you can translate all that into a card to matchbox, i believe you have a winner.
