k.. i was werking juz now.. at terrazza.. the restaurant outside wisma.. den at ard 8 plus.. i saw a HUGE group of ppl gathering around the staircase leading up to the office lift lobby.. i walked to the edge of the restaurant, to try n see whats happening.. den i saw an ang moh.. in brown suit n pants with a hat on performing magic.. too bad i didnt see what he did, coz i was werking.. but i could hear the specs cheering n clapping.. a few mins later, my manger appeared out of no where ( nothing to do with the magician) and said that he just saw that guy perform, praisin him.. saying he made a coke can appear from his empty hat. n blah3..

actually.. i dunno y i wrote all that.. hahaha.. k.. basically.. i juz wanna tell u all that there is a swedish magician (i think he's swedish, coz my manager told me).. performing outside wisma.. im kinda pumped up by that coz i never really seen a street act b4.. so go and check him out.. but.. i dunno when he will be performing.. today was the first time i saw him... cheers...

theres not a lot of magicians busking in singapore, then again, we dont have much buskers...

I wonder if he got good takings from the crowd, which sounds like they were very entertained. But with the average singaporean mentality, i'm not too sure.

If he has a proper busking license, he should be appearing there again, because the license does specify the area where they can busk.

if u r really serious abt street busking, get cellini's art of street performing videos. no tricks are taught, instead he gives priceless tips.....patter, one-liner, dressing, types of tables to use, how to get your crowd, how to keep them, & how to get paid ^_^ .........highly recommened.

He'll be here until the IF convention (he's attending). He said that he'll be performing along Orchard in the evenings (not all weekdays but definetly on Fridays and weekends) somewhere infront of Takshimaya.
