Description: hahaha
magicalee - February 6, 2005 03:25 AM (GMT)
Hi, for me, my favourite trick to perform in school is hummer card. It is very visual and gives great reactions. My friends once challenge me to perform it using his photocopying card. And i did that infront of the LT during one of the lecture... hahahhaa they clapped when i performed. hahhaa thats really cool...
Balducci levitation also has great impact on them.

Oh for me, it's ACR and Twisting the Aces. (cos i do only need a few cards, no need to carry a whole deck along. I performed Twisting once during assembly, and that VP looked at me, but he was abit amazed, so didn't say anything to me.)
Sharks, my sch uniform are WHITE, so any IT stuff will fail terribly. And, that my school canteen uses duper hard spoons and forks, so i seldom do it.
Once I did that Balducci in that Home Economics room in Sec 2, stunned my Home Econo teacher and her jaws dropped and kept saying 'OMG!!! OMG!!!' And then she forgot what is the next step to bake that cookies. lols.
Oh yeah, Arm Twist works well for me in school too! My friends will cringe in their faces, and say 'OUCHHHHH!'.

Here's an idea, do a "colour change" on your grades, either on your report book or on your test paper.
Show a "C" on your result to your friends and complain about how your mom is going to nag, then rub it ala Stephew Chow and show that it's now an "A". B)
Of course, given that you must have really gotten that "A" 1st :P Please don't go tell your teachers magic taught you to con your parents about your grades. :ph43r:

Greg Wilson's ReCapped seems so spontaneous when you have spare stationary lying around... and it's a killer.
Nate Kranzo's Tornado Straw is also a killer aside when you come out of the cafeteria holding your cup of coke. Daryl, remember this? :D

My fav school trick?
Well that was a terribly long time ago, but I invented a routine called "Absent from Class." It has a real kicker ending called "Playing Truant" followed by a revelation which I remembered as "Call your Parents."

wy, why you said "we"? you didn't even bend the spoons.. haha! you were screaming at us! hahaha..
anyway, DO NOT try this at swensen's.. bad idea. seriously. and if trying any spoon bending, at least make sure it's not bent so seriously till you can't bent it back (and have to resort to stealing the spoon.)
BuaYa - February 24, 2005 02:42 PM (GMT)

LOL. Since when was I screaming? I was just gaping, and pretending I didn't know any of the guys.
And what us? You took part in the spoon-bending?! Then I must not know you too. :P Swensen's precedes all relationships and people, even sisters.

it's not really a routine.. it's just, er, bending. haha!
don't worry morphine, we're not good enough to beat your signature trick! ;)
(oh, wy i confess i bent it once. just for fun! a little only..)
GordonLi - February 25, 2005 06:41 PM (GMT)
i dun really have a routine either, but i can do impromptu...
[Ling] - February 26, 2005 05:40 AM (GMT)
For me, i usually do 3 to 4 bendings in a row, so i suppose all that make up a so-called rountine.

Ohh I am abit late here... ya I know kekeke.... cos sch trick happened many yearssss ago...
Practising psychic... giving our teacher a real freak out when she saw over 50% of the answer sheet got the same wrong answer...
Bending of pencil, pen...(kid stuff no choic) notes roller....
Swallowing of coin.... the rubberband break and restore....
Sound out of nowhere(snoring Zzzz)
Disappearing cards and return in the air....(i was lousy then but no one caught me :P still lousy now kekeke)
And abit of you choose the card I found it and name it plus mental....
Ermmm backup plan when failure happened.....
I usually shout "wahhh CHIOOOO BUUUUUUUU
aiyah walk away liao....... " it the best misdirection too in my class
Disappearing act... and appearing with a girl act.... got caught many time though.... but it a nice one.... :g:
ksat90 - April 3, 2005 04:34 PM (GMT)
Hey..
why not coin tricks,
do the coin appearing out of thin air thingy and disappearing it.
did it on school mates and teacher.. flipped... hehe
Card tricks such as ACRs work damn well too... try not to attract too much attention though, once my friend did it and everyone crowded, and of course he couldn't continue...
Too bad cards are just viewed as "gambling tools" by DM, so we couldn't do it openly... sad..:(
iewgnod - April 4, 2005 09:47 AM (GMT)
2 car dmonte plus a biddle trick and they'll be wetting their pants :!!:
Clement - April 4, 2005 03:08 PM (GMT)
Well...I often "smuggle" in cards...take it out when in the canteen...do mostly 2 card monte
Or use straw...and of course spoon bending...
Anyway...about the swensens incident, its really an accident...spoon was easy to bend but not easy to bend back...so make sure its really safe to do so before attempting especially in public places and of course a restaurant!!!
Anyway...the spoon kinda got this stylish curve or bend on it...it quite unique...haha...anyway,gotta return to them without letting them know that the spoon is bend...
