Title: Card Warp

Hi

for those who do card warp, is it more effective (in your opinion) to do tear the card without taking it out for display. That is, do as the original handling in Ammar's video.

Or

Do the twist, then take it out of the cover to show it looks like?

I prefer to have it tear in the center and split it into 2, showing that its warped in the center.

The routine that I do last time includes signing of the cards by the audience(s).

I briefly describe how I did it. I will have the audience(s) select a card and the "gimmick" card. Or you can select push out 2 cards, won't matter.

Next is to ask them to fold the card, you should fold the long side, while she/her will fold the short side.

Once done, take out a sharpie and have one audience to sign the long side of your card. (You should know which side he/she should sign). Then proceed to give the pen to the audience to sign the short side.

*Take note that they are signing on 1 side of the card as a verification of the card didn't change, do not emphasize too much of the signature.

Next is to proceed with the effect. :)

Ending will be to move to the center and tear it out into 2, showing the cards warped.

I see I see. I always think its a good idea to have the cards sign albeit troublesome because some people think its a different card with the same value.

I'm still contemplating whether to show the card in its warped form without any cover or do not show it at all.

Not showing it at all adds to the mystery and will leave them thinking (and if not sturtured properly will lead them to create their own methods).

But showing it fully in its warped form will add to the visual appeal of the effect.

What do you all think?
