I used to use the Si Stebbins a lot, it was VERY helpful in a lot of effects that i used to do... back in them days :P

i'm currently experimenting with the Osterlind Breakthrough.. that's one hell of a stack man. it's not really possible to look at it and find a pattern.
stacked decks are very useful for mentalism effects. the only thing is that if you have a stack, you must know how to constantly f**** s****** to keep the stack. so there's also technical skill involved.
anyway, there's this Osterlind effect i do where the spec just takes out a bunch of cards from the deck. the other cards are kept in the box, and then i turn my back to the spectator and start calling off cards in the hand. just love watching their reactions.

Breakthru card system is strong. Its the way u present it that makes it even stronger. The same with most mentalism effects cos its not as visual as some stuff.
Its quite a chore to keep them [exposure censor] so i used to keep a separate deck juz for breakthru.

that's right. the breakthrough system is very strong. in fact, it seems like real mind-reading to some people. but with all mentalism effects, you need to be effective in presentation. otherwise, no one will believe you...

i find that si stebbins stack is not as random as breakthru system, so far most of my decks are stack that way, i've got a few routines that uses them

I got the Juan Tamariz Stack and i would say ITS POWERFUL.
Once i master it i will show u guys at the outing.
