As we all would know by now, we have our very own local magician representing us at the prestigious FISM Beijing 2009.

I believe he is the first Singaporean magician to have made it this far in all of FISM history. Here's a little write up about him.

Jeremy Pei is no stranger to the Singapore magic scene. He has appeared countless times on our local publishing, and has appeared in several television programmes both locally and abroad, each time exhibiting his very unique brand of magic redefined. But his achievements go far beyond as such.

His recent achievements include the Japan Close-up Magicians Association Award at the 2002 Thailand International Magic convention, as well as winning 1st place at the IF Magic Singapore Convention Close up Magic Competition. He was also crowned “Magician of the Year” Award by the Singapore Association of Magicians (SAM) for 3 consecutive years, the first and only in Singapore.

I think it would be the single greatest achievement of ANY magician in Singapore if he were to place at FISM - it IS the Olympics of Magic competitions!

Anyway, the Linking Rings performance by Jeremy from the link "Jeremy Pei in Singapore Variety Show" (from the first post) is by far the most stylish performance for Linking Rings I have ever seen. But of course if you have seen his other performances, you would have realized that he's quite stylish in his performances! :wacko:
