I just happened to receive it last week.

As to whether its worth the $$, it depends. Its sold as an addition to their 'trilogy' series, so most of the stuff is barely explained, and essential sleights are referenced from preceding 3 DVD set. If you have trilogy, that's not a problem, however if you don't, and are not familiar with the sleights, this will probably be #$%!$% frustrating.

And if that's not enough, they pull the same stunt as 'Queens' in the Trilogy and demonstrate a trick using the Clip Shift (and the Pughe's Pass in another trick), and then refuse to explain it, instead referring the viewer to another DnD product that is sold separately.

In addition to this, if I were to rate the energy (1-10) they had when they were teaching the sleights/tricks, I would give it a solid -2. Some parts are so bad they remind me of Brian Tudor on weed. (He's widely acknowledged as the worst teacher in magic)

However.

The material is exceptional - everything you probably already expect from the Buck twins and more. There are several ideas that are genuine improvements from the material in Trilogy For example, their alternative to the '1-handed snap change' a.k.a click change makes it almost angle proof - quite practical if you can put the practice in - its extremely hard. The Ginastaire double is explained for the first time on DVD, finally giving video evidence that it is actually possible. When I first read it I honestly thought it was a practical joke =). Then there's the famous G.O.A.T change, which looks pretty damm good. Not too hard as well.

The tricks are very visual, but I didn't really like them as I suspect a lay person would find them hard to follow. What I did like were the various sleights and subtleties presented - already new ideas are cooking in my head.

I suppose if you get the DVD you'll probably enjoy it for that reason alone. That is, if you can get past the horrible instruction...

EDIT: I just read your intro and you mentioned you don't like tricks using gaffs - there is 1 trick on the DVD that requires a little extra something so you might like to keep that in mind.
