just sign up recently but didn't have the chance to introduce myself until now.

i am ronny. Singaporean male, age almost 39.....
meddled in little tricks when i was in primary school but only seriously pick up more in the last 7 to 8 years.

i do mostly children's magic and i use magic for teaching/illustration.

i reside in indonesia but come back to sg once a year. i am glad to be back this time and chance upon this forum. unfortunately, i wld not be able to make it for the next meeting....

i am also very glad to be able to attend IF magic. the last one i attended was the IBM conference in florida 4 years ago. i realised that i missed the 10% discount by signing up in a grp... anyway, may i ask if the first night gala dinner is worth attending? does anybody know?

If you haven't signed up for IF Magic yet, you can try calling the organisers and ask if they will let you sign up under the singapore magic circle group booking and still get the 10% off.
The official closing date for IF Magic is actually over but if you are lucky, they still might let you register. See the details here.
Many of us are going to be at IF Magic, do say hi if you find any of us :)

For the Gala dinner, i think it's more of a networking event for people with commercial interest in magic. Either that or you are a hugh fan and want to go around asking for autographs :)
I wouldn't be able to say if it's worth it because I've never been to one. Maybe someone who has can tell you.
