Title: What Kind Of Decks Are Good For Flourishing?

Charles Edward - November 16, 2009 04:29 AM (GMT)
Hey guys, just want to know from you all what kind of decks do you all prefer

using while flourishing?

For my personal liking,i prefer tally-ho circle, leagues, aladdin smooth and

wynns.but i still wonder is there any other decks that works better for card

flourishes.

Charles. :D

I'm not exactly a flourish person. So i stick with the simple plain bicycle for my own leisure. I've seen my friends use fancy ghost deck etc for improved visual effects.

ChiaWK - November 16, 2009 04:57 AM (GMT)
Tally-Hos are really good. :)

Charles Edward - November 18, 2009 10:56 AM (GMT)
yea, tallys are nice for flourishing but it has only slight difference compare with

normal bikes. :)

o0oKIRAo0o - November 21, 2009 03:00 PM (GMT)
i use bike as well, maybe ghost or arcane recently. wynn once in awhile.

Anyone tried RJRTC watermelon deck??? I got my hands on some but still think weather to open it or not.

Bryan - December 9, 2009 12:58 PM (GMT)
sorry but could you refesh my memory on RJRTC?

o0oKIRAo0o - December 9, 2009 01:37 PM (GMT)
hmmm if I not wrong its stands for RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company, it is a discontinue print deck which has been use in a casino.

They said the feel is very good and such. So i just want to get some feedback before i open one :P

Charles Edward - December 9, 2009 04:18 PM (GMT)
yea,i know this deck.many good feedback about it but i haven't try it yet.maybe will get 1 for myself. :D

o0oKIRAo0o - December 9, 2009 11:35 PM (GMT)
Hmmm ok thank maybe i really should open one for myself

I use black ghost to do flourishes, its one of those decks that aren't too smooth yet looks nice when you do a thumb fan or one-handed fan.

most of the time i use aladdin 1001, tally-ho and bike... sometimes red/brown wynn.. never try blue yet.. :(

Charles Edward - March 18, 2010 01:21 AM (GMT)
The quality is still always the same,Cambric finish.

But most flourisher prefer the colours and design despiting the qualities.lol.

For example,Old Stud playing card.its so soft.I hardly uses it.

Actually have any of you tried using those cards they give for free on the plane? Somehow they fan very well, are very smooth, you might want to consider trying.

blue_mode_1 - March 24, 2010 12:33 PM (GMT)
Which plane?

jleexd - March 28, 2010 09:09 AM (GMT)
Singapore Airlines

xpeinx - April 20, 2010 04:01 AM (GMT)
Tally-ho are the best for normal and cheapest deck.

Otherwise, how about Split Spade Lions or Ellusionist deck?

muscleaxl - April 20, 2010 11:08 AM (GMT)
Are you sure Tally Ho is the cheapest??

Charles Edward - April 30, 2010 02:45 AM (GMT)
Aladdin is the cheapest if i'm not mistaken.i'm not a Singaporean but i guess my prediction is right.lol

Split Spade is good to flourish with, but i personally prefer vintage series :)

xpeinx - May 13, 2010 03:09 AM (GMT)
Oh haha, pardon me.

Bicycle is the cheapest and the most classic with great design.

Then will be follow by my favorite Tally-ho.

Split Spade i tried is nice for both flourishing and magic (optical illusion in the deck and Queen of Spade Gaff).

While Arcane is not that smooth after using for 1 month but still awesome in their design/effect and quality.

Haven't yet to try white Ghost. But just a matter of time i guess. :D

Rapid867Flare - July 12, 2010 12:36 PM (GMT)
My deck of choice are The Jerry's Nuggets or the Golden Nuggets.I also use Split Spades , Aladdins , Wynns and Tally Hos.Bikes are a little too thin for my flourishing.

flameman120 - July 13, 2010 08:56 AM (GMT)
I think the Massa Deck is not bad. Bees deck are good too. Split Spade is under Bee standard so its not bad too, just slightly more expensive than Bees.

nickypower - July 15, 2010 03:56 PM (GMT)
tally-ho should be pretty good but I think normal bicycle cards would be good enough =)

nottieboy - July 16, 2010 10:21 AM (GMT)
QUOTE (jleexd @ Mar 28 2010, 05:09 PM)
Singapore Airlines

Why Singapore Airlines? They are not air-cushioned, as far as i know.

heartsofclubs - January 15, 2012 05:36 PM (GMT)
Are you searching for these decks? There is one by murphy called manipulating deck. Let me know if you're interested in that. Very thin cards. Good for productions :D
