However, I am new to ropes thus need some advice from all of you. What kind of rope are suitable for rope magic? saw one by uday, is the quality good?

Uday is fine. They have a few colours for you to choose from.

Uday is perfectly fine for me. I use them all the time. They are softer and nicer to handle than some more expensive ones. They fray easily though, so you may want to treat the ends if you intend to use the rope for a longer period of time.

Thank a lot for the great advice there. Would be buying the Uday rope^^
I still got one more advise to ask. How do you treat the end of the rope to keep it from fraying?
Thank

Pull the core out (about 5 cm) from the ends, cut away the core. Then tuck the ends into the hollow end.
You can also use superglue.

I do both actually. I cut it then, tuck it and then glue it up with wood glue. The white glue. Looks nice.
I love hearing my specs say is that there are magnets in the ends. HHAHA.. Fun. :)
