Description: Discussion!

Hi all!

I would like to ask you all if anyone of you had any experience buying stuffs from The Magic WareHouse which is an online magic shop.

How is the shipping and the quality of the products or so?

I had been to their website and it seems that most of their stuff are at a very reasonable price.

And also i would also like to ask, i visited that website, and that online magic shop was in America and currently i am over at Singapore viewing the website, the prices stated there for the products is in SGD? For example, i saw the Invisible Deck-Bicycle selling for $6.25 so if i make a payment for that, i am paying SG6.25?

Thank You all for your replies :g:

The Magic Warehouse is US based. All the prices are in USD. So you have to convert the currency which means the price that you're paying in SGD will be higher. Above that, you will have to pay for shipping fees too and that can be quite expensive.

Different online dealers have varying fees for the shipping cost and there will usually be a slight variation in pricing for products too. You might want to look around more before buying anything online.

I haven't bought from Magic Warehouse before so I won't be able to comment on their service.

Excellant!

The magic warehouse is priced in USD and usually delivered in a week. They offer very good price but you do have to factor in freight cost.Bear in mind that they offer many 'third party' products. For me, i think the quality is still decent given the price

Magic Warehouse hasn't given me any problems when I ordered from them.

So its pretty safe.

Another online shop you want to try is MJM magic, they are very reliable and trustworthy.

So, does that means that if I saw the invisible deck at the magic warehouse selling at $6.25, I will have to pay them in SGD9 dollars plus?

lawaquarius - February 22, 2010 06:33 AM (GMT)
You'll have to pay for shipping charges on top of that S$9++. :)

Ok thank you. So does that means that the shipping fees is also in us dollars? Any recommendations of magic shops? (:

ChiaWK - February 22, 2010 09:33 AM (GMT)
Yes, shipping fees is also in USD.

Some websites list the shipping fees on their website, some provide you with the full quotes upon order.

Make sure everything is listed up front before you confirm any transaction.

Ok thank you. Is there anyone who can recommend me any other online magic shops other than magic boutique which i know already? (:

Also there are local online dealers.

Gather some magic friends and order stuffs together. You'll save that way. That's my advice if you are looking at saving those bits on shipping.
Buy occasionally, but buy more at one go, that's one good strategy to save.

Ok thanks a lot ya. Oh ya, the price we now see at magic depot is in us dollars or SGD?(:

generally speaking $ means USD. EUR means euro etc... so yes you are looking at USD. If you are not convince, look at their 'locate us' section and reference their country and you will be quite sure of their transaction currencies.
