Nice routine. Keep it coming!

Nice, the method is actually different from the usual linking bands, good motivation during the S*****.

Well done.

Thanks for the comments!

Yes Larry! I was hoping that someone will notice the motivation and the unique method I used for linking the bands.

The method is very different from the usual linking bands. Those familiar with Daniel Garcia's Rubbermade or Nabil Murday's Link! will be able to see that I'm not using the same method in the my Fusion Bands. My method has no clothing restriction, and works in all angles and lighting conditions.

For most linking rubberbands effect out there, the rubberbands were linked for a short while and the magicians have to unlink the rubberbands. The audience will feel that they just witnessed a good illusion.

Fusion Bands on the other hand allows you to hand them the permanently linked rubberbands to keep as a souvenir. This is when the illusion becomes reality.

Very interesting.

Just wondering if this is an impromptu effect? Or are there gimmicks involved?

Not fishing, but these are questions one is bound to ask when considering to purchase the effect when it is released.

Though I don't know your exact method, you might want to check out Hondo's table link in his DVD Cream Bands. I think the method is similar, if not, the same.

Hi ChiaWK!

This effect is not impromtu. The gimmick is the rubberband, which can be examine by the audience. =)

Thanks Magicdow for informing me about Hondo's Creambands.

I watched the video performance of the table link(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQ8JQgv-a9k) and I'm 100% positive that we are not using the same method.

It is interesting that I had the exact same idea for the first few links he showed in the video, but I don't think it is good enough so I created Fusion bands.

If you guys see other similar effects out there please inform me so that I can clarify with the creators if we are using the same method.

I think the similar part is the first phase, though Ace's routine suggest that it will not be a multi phase linking rubber band but a 1 time off routine.

The non-similar side is the way the routine was witnessed by the audience. Ace's routine suggest that the 2 visually separate bands link together and hand out. While other routine suggested similar, but the method involved is different, in terms of s***** methods and handling.

In Ace's routine, it is not really an impromtu effect but you can get ready within seconds, take out the bands, and you are ready to go. So in short, you use the gimmicked bands from starting to end, with angles protected.

While others, the gimmicked bands only appear at the ending phase when you hand out to the audience.

So I can imagine Ace routine to be like so: Throw in a pile of rubber bands onto table. Get audiences to check some of the bands. Audience pick some bands, he pick some bands, Use any of the 2 bands. Throw in the bands, they linked, and hand out the bands to the audiences. Done.

Well, Just my 2 cents worth.

Yes, Larry is right.

This is a single phase rubberband linking routine. You clearly show 2 separate rubberbands and linked them together, end of story.

If you really want it you can use my method to achieve a multi phase linking bands routine too. You can link the bands, unlink the bands and link the bands back again.

I want the display of the rubberbands to be as clear and clean as possible. Rubberbands are very light objects hence I think they should be held at the finger tips.
I don't like the idea of rubberbands being stretched before you link them. I think it is totally unnecessary and some people might suspect something fishy is going on.

The set up of this effect is very simple and you can reset the effect almost instantly.
