Today , I went into one of the particular 7 eleven and saw the aladdin playing cards .
Do anyone know what the speciality or characteristic of the cards
( Example , the textile . ) ?
Is it suitable for sleight of hand ?

Aladdin cards have two different finishes, 'smooth' and 'air cushion'. 7-11 mostly sells Aladdin cards with 'smooth finish'. In the past, I have tried both type of Aladdin cards and I didn't like it. They were too flimsy and clump together easily as I have sweaty palms. I suggest you buy 1 deck and test it, it cost almost the same as bicycles or cheaper.

I love to flourish using 1001(Smooth Finish). :D
While to answer your question, it's like more to personal preference. Some people like it, some just don't like it. So it's better to get one/borrow during gathering and try it out yourself.

I find that the Aladdin cards (air cushion) feel the same as bicycle air cushion when it is being spread, but it is harder and thicker then bicycle, so when you do a spring, it is not so good.

The stock is much tougher from personal experience. At the beginning I felt that Aladdins suited the condition of my hand so I used them for quite some time. After which, I realised unless being consistently used in an air-con environment, the cards would clump quite easily. Oh wait. That happens to most other cards too. =(

Try getting some fanning powder, it work well and does not make the old card stick together. When I use it, my deck is about 5 months old and it fan like new, that is the oldest deck that last with me. :P

Replying to aaronsim92, I had a different experience with 1001 Aladdin decks. And yes, like aaronsim92, I have sweaty palms too.
And I realized (I wonder if its me or what?!?), after using the deck for some time, my cards have an oily feel to it. I wonder if anyone has any explanation or similar experiences like mine. If so, could you share with me? I only have this problem with Aladdin cards!
And in any case, I feel different individuals have different hands, and each fingers have their own preferences :)
