Does anyone here got used bicycle cards willing to give it away? Willing to buy it at a cheap price if it's condition is not that bad. (: thank you!

Actually I also thought of that before, my reason is to save money, because I was thinking a new deck of cards, an old deck of cards, they are still cards after all.

If that is the case, then why not just get those 1dollar deck from the mama shop or airline decks which can be got for free whenever onboard. They are cards anyway and i am sure they will be much cheaper. :P

I am sure people who throw away old decks and get new ones do not mean that they have lots of money to spend on.

Practicing in an old deck and a new deck have LOTS of differences, which I believe many would agree on. An example would probably simply to DL a pack of fresh new cards, compared to a pack of old sticky cards.

Old cards, in my opinion, however is useful when you are doing tricks that need to destroy the cards like card warp, so that you will not feel the ache in the heart whenever u tear them. :lol:

Ya I agree, actually those decks I use that are not in the best condition are my can sign can tear cards lor, I only have around 4 bicycle decks up to date, just keep reusing, just curious, how many decks do other magicians around here have?

Well I have quite a few ranging from 3-5 but most of them are used one (Not bicycles card but Bees and Royal) and 1 unuse pack .

Well, I have quite a number of tricks that require my cards to been torn or burn. And also, I also need old cards to create most of the gimmick cards. As you all know, there are some gimmick card tricks which can be self made? Like just for example if I want a double back card, I can just use two used bicycle cards. Agree?(; So...does anyone got spare bicycle deck or cards ?

Yes they are still cards but they feel different. You should use new cards to practice your sleights unless you perform using a deck of old cards.

I am not sure if you know what a new deck of cards feels like. Optimal feel of cards occur when the deck is lightly used.

I have some opened but unused decks. But they aren't Bikes. =/

Used cards are definitely not as good as new cards. There are many cheap range in the market.

I think you should buy a brand new bicycle deck. It's more worth it in the long run.. Anyway it's only 3 to 4 dollars.

Try to search on the net, you might get it for as low as $2-$3 for a pack of new bike. if you are lucky enough, you will be able to get 1 for $1++

I used to run through about 2 bicycle decks a week but I switched to Aladdin.
