Test Conditions -

1. No forcing procedure of any kind is ever employed! This includes psychological, mathematical, spelling, timing or classic. Just fair, free, and clean.
2. No roughed cards.
3. No duplicate cards relied on.
4. No stacked arrangements.
5. No Himber Wallets or switching of envelopes or cards ever!
6. The prediction card is actually in the envelope for the entire week. It is the same card removed from the envelope by the mayor!
7. Even if the prediction is tampered with, the outcome of the trick will remain unaltered. (This is a first in prediction effects!)
8. Can be done as a test in telepathy between two cities over the telephone.
9. Absolutely no sleight of hand required!
10. No long or short cards employed.

My Review

Mastermind have actually been around for a long time, but it was produced on a non-bicycle deck. I'm not sure if anyone here have the old version, but the reason i bought this is because it is produced in Bicycle deck.

To a lot of people, $29.95 for a gim****** deck is kind of expensive. That's what i thought in the beginning too. But after reading the reviews, test conditions and possible effect, i decided to give it a try.

Before i received the deck, i have a rough idea of how it works. But it does not fit the test condition provided. So i decided to wait till they arrive.

Like most other effect, the moment i received this item, i went "Ooooohhhhh......"

But i did not regret buying this at all. That's because i won't be able to produce anything similar. After handling Mastermind for a while, i can already think of what i can do with it.

Mastermind is not examinable and cannot really be repeated on the same person. (Within a short period of time.)

Like what the description said, ACAAN (Any Card At Any Number). This can be accomplished and you can show the audience that all the cards in the deck are different. But the actual effect would be CAAN (Card At Any Number).

The deck can be shuffled, really shuffled. Mastermind is almost self-working. As long as you are able to do a decent ribbon spread, thumb fan or lepaul's spread, it's all good.

For clean up part, as long as your audience management is good, it should not be a problem at all.


Recommended? Yes! ACAAN is always my favorite effect.
