Title: Hawk 2.0 By Paul Harris
Description: Little Review.

Product: Hawk 2.0

Creator: Alexander Kolle

Performer: Paul Harris

Price: SGD 68

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lUJTQb1S-s

Description:

Anyone signs both sides of any card (from a normal deck). You insert the signed card into the center of the deck which you place on the floor (or hold in one hand). Everyone stares at the top of the deck on the floor. The suspense builds, then in full view with no cover and without anyone touching the deck, the signed card miraculously appears on top! You immediately turn the card over to show the other signature, then toss out the card to the astonished crowd.

My review:

To be honest i was a little disappointed with the "Hawk 2.0", it is not as visual as what i saw on their video. Lighting plays a big part and it is not 100% angle proof. Not suitable for beginners as it requires some card handling skills. I find the DVD hard to follow, watched it a few times to understand how the trick works. However if you can pull it off, it can be really visual. Best place to perform will be in bars pubs or anywhere with dim lights.
Good thing is the price is still reasonable compared to David stone's Window.

Last but not least my rating for the product: 6 / 10

Thanks for the review bro.

Didn't know that it was that complicated.

You are most welcome nottieboy, it is not that complicated afterall.
Just that i feel the DVD is not detailed enough and it cannot be performed anywhere, and also you have to take note of angle and lighting.

But one good thing is you will have everything included for you, Gimmick which can last you around 100 or more performances depending on how well you take care of it, and it comes with extra goodie to allow you to make your own if your original gimmick is damaged or lost, trust me you won't want to make your own; its a big hassle!

I will like to say that I am also disappointed with the effect.
The demo video is really amazing but like what myuro has said, lighting and angle is also very important. Or else it will look great only on video.

I do not know if I am too concious about the gimmick, but in live, it just seems to be quite obvious as compared to when watching the video.
However, if you can pull it off, this is a very visual effect.
As for the teaching, I think it was pretty clear and easy to follow.
This is my personal take, maybe others who bought the effect might see different.

I found it to be impractical.

Does the gimmick different with the previous version? or the same?

Hi, I was intending to buy Hawk 2.0 as I ACR as a starter or end. Now that there are reviews saying that it has some complications in the gimmick, I think I will do more research on the reviews before actually buying it.
