Title: Little Man By Paul Harris
Description: Product Discussion

Genya Arikado - July 22, 2010 04:26 AM (GMT)
Description: You bring out a small gift bag and pull out a standard container of kid's clay. You peel off the lid, pull out a lump of clay and let your audience freely squish, pull and play with it. You then help the audience mold the clay into a little man (or woman!) The only reason you help is to insure that his little proportions are correct.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=132RUk10LFk

Price: $300 USD (Complete with DVD and extra clay)

Level: - Incredibly Easy.
- No switches, palming, steals, etc. Your hands are always empty.
- Empty bag and container can be freely handled by audience at end of effect. Completely self-contained.
- Nothing attached to you or your clothes.
- Perform completely surrounded in any lighting conditions. Re-sets in two to three minutes and same lump of clay can be used over and over.

Anyone interested in this pricey item? Currently is in Pre-Order with limited signed edition.

It's been in pre-order for more than a year, there seems to be a massive delay involved. Just FYI for those interested...

Sorry to reignite this post, but I am really curious if anyone has purchased this? Reviews has been sparse and limited, so I am trying to hear some inputs here. Anyone?

Obviously, the cost is a factor. But I am thinking to purchase it on the account that not many people have it, so there will be some feeling of exclusivity if a magician has this.

And audience participation is a strong factor in this product too. Nothing beats that, in my opinion.

Hope someone can elaborate on this, without giving too much away, here :)

Pros
1) I am thinking to purchase it on the account that not many people have it, so there will be some feeling of exclusivity if a magician has this.

2) And audience participation is a strong factor in this product too. Nothing beats that, in my opinion.

3) Paul Harris's endorsement plays a part, for me that is.

Cons
1) Obviously, the cost is a factor.
2) Lack of info also restrict the decision making of the individual. There is always some hesistance

Hope someone can elaborate on this, without giving too much away, here :)

Justice:

Do forgive these 2 - the forum has had issues with such abuses in the past and they do have some reason to be paranoid, although I'd say that their reaction was somewhat rash. This is compounded by the fact that most of the regular posters also don't really post here anymore, although I do hope to be proven wrong on that.

wkc, Huatking: Innocent until proven guilty. You can take out the pitch forks if an ogre actually shows up. In the meantime keep them in the closet.

Anyway Justice, It is my belief after reading some of your other posts that you are simply an enthusiastic individual who is simply asking a rather innocent question. I shall attempt to help you if you need it.

Re: the original topic, I have no idea how good/bad the trick is as its quite out of the ways of my field. The bigger question you should ask yourself at this point is if the material is suitable for you.

PM me if you need any direction/help.

Hello Matt Lee,

Thanks for your kind words. Much appreciated.

I believe I have contributed constructive comments in the forum. I may not be the expert around here, but looking at the historical threads of wkc and Huatking, they bring spam and junk with their mindless post. Just compare what I have contributed to theirs. You guys can judge.
