Title: Coin Effects: In The Hand

LoyaLover - July 24, 2010 01:09 AM (GMT)
Coins in the hand effects have always garnered the most baffling reactions.

Yet there aren't many versions that I know of. The only two I can think of would be a copper silver routine where a silver coin transposes with a copper one, and a coins across routine where a coin travels into a spectator hand.

Are there any coin workers here who does both routines? I used to do it one after another long time ago. I can't exactly recall how it went, but its surprising that they work pretty alright even when they were structured back to back.

Which do you perform? And which do you prefer?

Often times i realized that the coins across version works much better.

I've always like Paul Harris' PDQ II. No extra and the last coin is always a fooler.

O! You posted about that on themagiccafe!

Just for other's info, this effect can be found in Art of Astonishment book 2, and it is a coins across routine!

Shall take a look!

How about the one by Eric Jones; Audio? That would be a good opening effect.

Oh yes! Audio coins looks very interesting! Did you get it yourself, Bun Lay?(I hope i got the spelling right).

I have been wondering if its as simple and practical as it sounds!

Just FYI, if you haven't seen it already.

Audio - Youtube link

I was confused at the first part of the act though.

PDQ II is brilliant - but HPC move is not as easy as what Paul Harris wrote. :ph43r:
