and it took me more than 5 hrs per day....
i'm taking my o' this yr...should i quit magic this yr?

Why quit? Just cut down on magic and study more. Hmmmm... the opposite of smoking.
MagicalPam - February 18, 2005 01:19 AM (GMT)
Please .... please put a maximum of 2 hours for your magic, otherwise you will have a trouble with your study
Magic is fun hobby, but I don't think you could earn your life with that unless you are excellent and innovative
You could still practice your magic for 2 hours a day, and you could spend more time for your study

magic affect ur study? Not magic affect your study, it was your time management problem. ^_^
it did affect mine...coz as ur noe i'm a nooob in magic...so i need more time to practice and it took me more than 5 hrs per day....
my 2 cent worth suggestion to this spend 1 hrs per day, 1 week you will just spend 5 hrs only. :P

There you go... you just got very good pointers from 3 intellegent people.
MagicalPam is right when he advises you to practice your magic for 2 hours a day, and you could spend more time for your study. The most important thing is to have a healthy balance and make the best use of your time!
Yeah i know, so much to do, so little time! Good luck with your studies!

I'm having my bloody Os this year too. But, juggle between these two stuff. For me, I study first, really study with no temptations, for like 2 hours. Then switch to recreational stuff like Magic for the next 30 minutes to 1 hr ++. This will relax yourself alot, and this time can let your brain reabsorb what you have learnt or revised too. Don't quit magic, it's not worth it... :g:
Maximise the usgae of the time of everything. :g:
- In my sch lab right now, Ling. :D

I got alot of O Level people asking me whether should they stop magic due to O Level, if you actually know your priority, you don't even have to quit anything.
Just study hard, work hard and practice hard. Magic keep you focused, gives you confidence, so don't let it go. :) Good luck ~

yep... as ling said, only practise when you are resting from studies. lock up all ure decks in some other cupboard so tt u wont have the temptation to open ure drawer to take out the much needed deck of cards...

Honestly, I studied lesser than I practiced magic. And I regretted that...
I mean, GODAMIT! Because I lost so much magic time everyday, I'm losing to Kevin Huron and Daryl in magic! FUGGIT FUGGIT!
Shouldn't have studied at all. FUGGIN O levels is easy ZHIT.
