For all the participants of IF Magic Convention.
As you know magic convention is in York Hotel but the show is in Kalang Theatre every night
I am arranging an aircond Van to pick up us in York Hotel at 18.30 to go to Kalang and the same to pikc up us at 22.00 from Kallang to go to York Hotel to attend night lecture.
If you are interrested to join the Van, please let me know.
I will charge 2$ (one-way per person) to recover the cost, slighlt more than MRT but more convenient, and with 12 persons in the van we could have fun during the trip.
Iwill propose this to other people as well, but SMC member will have booking priority :-)
Hurry up guys , please let me know if you want to join, I have only 12 seats, and it is First Come First Served.

Hey, Pam, you forgot to mention that there are additional stools in the van too.

I am fine with it I go with the flow lol if morphine say ok then its fine lol go in a group is fund can talk alot lol make hell lots of noise in the van and throw cards around too and maybe show some effect on the way lol...and may also I as a learning magician can learn something too on the way to the show lol... :D

I think we leave this up to the individuals would be better, because some of us drives and have their own transport. So everyone sign up individually please :)

But hey, if it's 1 way transport, what about the late night lectures after the kallang theatre performances on Fri & Sat nights? Can the driver send us back on those nights? Will there be extra charges?

...Or is the schedule I've downloaded from the IF 05 website not the most updated? :lol:

There will be the same mini bus to bring us back to the hotel i think. It's $2 one way so going to Kallang and back to York will be $4/per night.

Yes, we have 2 ways ....this means York Hotel to Kalang at 18.30 and Kallang to York Hotel at 22.15
one way is 2$, return is 4$ per person

Magic Dow, this is an aircond Mercedes van with 14 seats, 1 for driver, 1 for me, and I have 12 other seats,
so far I have got :
1) Morphine
2) Ning
3) illusionist

for others , please confirm asap, as if I dont have 12 seats I will also propose to other people, ....

ok...chop chop curry pop people, for those of us attending, this is a great service! Thanks Pam :) I don't think there's enough time to rush between the locations by bus or MRT and this saves you the hassle of cab queues.

Hmmm... Pam, i think you need to be fair to yourself. Give a deadline for this so people don't breeze in late or make changes to cause you any hiccups. This way, it'd be easier for you to ask ay of your friends from IBM or SAM too if they wanna join in.

Of course it'd be fantastic if it's a entire bus full of SMC people ^_^ So hurry up you guys, don't keep the nice man waiting!!!

good suggestion, in this case I will put the deadline for tomorrow (wednesday afternoon 17.00)
So, if you want to join please let me know asap, so we could reserve a seat for you in the van,
remember, trip in the van with SMC will be much more fun than MRT or bus or taxi queues ....

....May i also add that please, if you say you wanna join in this carpool for the IF '05 duration, PLEASE DO NOT PULL OUT HALFWAY. That would be extremely irresponsible and very un-nice to Pam who is being very helpful to all of us here.

I suggest everyone pay Pam the full amount from day one. There should be 5 trips altogether so it $10 each.
Of course, then if you decided to not take the transport on a particular day, you can but no refund B)

Take it easy, life does not need to be complicated, if I take 10$ in the beginning I have problem to track who paid and who dont, I may not be familiar with all your faces and names

It's a paid event if i am right. Not everyone can go in.

when iz the event???

it was yesterday, today, tomorrow and sunday.

If i am right, this is a closed event, so if you want to get in, you have to pay $100+ from the first day onwards.
