Title: Dynamic Coin?
SeNgHoE - February 23, 2005 09:24 AM (GMT)
What is the effect of dynamic coin? Only heard solomon briefly explain it. Anyone can tell me the full effect. And anyone selling 2nd hand? :!!: :!!: :!!: :!!:
rh89 - February 23, 2005 09:26 AM (GMT)
erm i think its like 2 brass caps and a stack of coins can move about under the brass caps.. like from one cap to another.
you should also be able to make the coins appear and disappear.
someone correct me if i'm wrong..
SeNgHoE - February 23, 2005 09:27 AM (GMT)
ehz, i dun thinks so. coz solomon told me the effect i think is aboaut size of the coins cahngging or sumting. forgot

ziLin - February 23, 2005 10:03 AM (GMT)
saw revelc performing it on saturday.. quite cool. at least the box wrote dynamic coin anyways.
it's similar to what rh says, as in.. the brass caps thing and moving from one another.. appearing and disappearing but the coin size changing one is possible cause revelc did it as well. the stack of 50c coins changed to a stack of 5c coins.. both of them can be performed with the dynamic coin i think.
ask revelc! he knows
Aloy - February 23, 2005 10:13 AM (GMT)
Yup, rh and buaya's girlfriend ( :g: ) is right, the effect involves 2 stack of coins changing places and changing into smaller coins.
The cheapest version i bought for that is from Gician, like $12.
ziLin - February 23, 2005 02:46 PM (GMT)
 you just had to say that right?!
:off: :off: :off:
Magicdow - February 23, 2005 02:52 PM (GMT)
Go to Patrick Wan's shop. His girls only know how to pitch this and the magic coloring book.
Aloy - February 23, 2005 02:54 PM (GMT)
Can go but please don't buy there ok? :g:
BuaYa - February 23, 2005 03:09 PM (GMT)
Ai ya. Never buy ANYTHING from them. They are SUPER Rubbish.
Magicdow - February 23, 2005 03:18 PM (GMT)
yeah, go there and have a laugh. But don't buy.
GordonLi - February 23, 2005 10:12 PM (GMT)
anyway, magic wand is selling it for $35 i think (at least that was the price a few years back). its rip off, dun buy...
[wy~*] - February 24, 2005 08:26 AM (GMT)
Hahaha, if anyone wants to buy this effect, just go to any gift shop...a lot of them sell it cheap. Is the size-changing part of the original act? I thought revelc said it was a modification or something. The one I know and saw initially was only the coins appearing and disappearing.
GordonLi - February 24, 2005 08:41 AM (GMT)
yes, the size changing thing can be done with the same props. (eg nickles to dimes)
its just using it for a diff purpose, or integrating this into the routine.

Sigh, read my previous post...you can get it cheap at those kind of gift shops outside...like Giftland or Gift Image or whatever - the one with a lot of beads. But they don't call it Dynamic Coin...I've seen the Dynamic Coin in Magic Supreme before I believe...but someone just said it's out of stock. Hmm my cousin got his from Ang House of Magic. Doesn't every magic shop have this effect?
exohordon - February 24, 2005 04:42 PM (GMT)
U can get it for like 50 cents in Taiwan.
Cheap like dirt.

thks for the compliment :)
well apparently everyone has describes the effect already. too bad u didn't see me perform tat during the last gathering. :P
its juz a coin transpo prop tat's all.
u can get it cheap for like $12 like wat morphine mention. but for tat u can only transpo smaller coins like 20cents n its only 1 brass cap.
the dynamic coin set contains 2 brass caps n u can use s'pore 50cents coin, which was wat i usually do n showed some of them during the last outing.
golden landmark sells the dynamic coin as well.
think its selling at $26 if i didn't remember wrongly.
well tat's all the infor i hav
hope its of use. :)

From what i see, the dynamic coins sold here are all about the same. The set that Richard Ang sell comes from Thailand and it actually fits ouy 50 cents coin. I saw some of them for sale at the convention.
