Well, I don't really know how to false shuffle or cut... so any tips on how i can do real looking shuffles and cuts?

What kinda shuffles? Table shuffles or in the hands shuffles? If you can, be more specific in your request and I'll see if I can help.

hands shuffle, actually, any false shuffle that appears real would do..

as a general rule, false cuts should only be done after a control, and not as a control. after a control, u may do any amounts of false cuts (or flourish-based ones).

false shuffles:

strip-out (can do, but i dont usually do tabled)
push-through (can do, but i dont usually do tabled)
zarrow (used to do this)
heinstein (this one i like BEST)
up the ladder type hindu
and many other kinds for overhand shuffle

theres also this very unnatural-looking and messy type where u put cards above and under in the other hand (who knows the name?)

its similar... but the cards dun face one another, and the deck ends up cut. it has got some chinese name if im right.

ok got it, its called a haymow shuffle. (ok, its not some chinese name, but it sure sounds wierd does it not?)

but as most other old sleights, there may be other names for the same sleight, but i believe most books refer to it as this.

hmm.. i remembered it was called the slip slop shuffle.

some versions of triump uses it.

i usually do controls.. i find them much easier.. why do some crazy shuffles when u can easily control... unless u awnt to retain the WHOLE PACK.

in my opinion.. just learn the pass.

the card gose anywhere. . boom in 1 seconds. the card is borught to the top.

i dun think any1 will do a full-deck false shuffle if its not needed.

false cuts there are literally hundreds or even thousands of them, no point naming.

pass is not really THAT clean, i only use it as a get-out. it can be fast though, but when 2 hands come together, its suspicious, whether they actually see the move or not, suspicion destroys the effect.

Haymow shuffle? Whaaa?

I guess you're prolly talking about the Slop Shuffle (Sid Lorraine/Ron Bauer). Sankey's Back in Time and Richard Sanders' Time Boards, both of which are two of the most kickass triumph routines out there use the slop shuffle.

In my opinion, i think the most natural false cut is.... the swing cut, and double under cut. jay Sankey does it alot. Its not really flashy but its natural.
