Title: Review On Kids Kards

srysry - March 2, 2005 01:05 PM (GMT)
Hi 3v3ryone,
I'm writing a review of the deck:kids kards
A bit of history:The magician explains that as a thank you gift, a group of children he once performed for sent him an illustrated deck of cards they'd made. Wonderful though this was, the cards weren't much good for performing with. So, to make the most of his gift, the magician changes the hand-illustrated cards into an honest-to-goodness factory printed deck! He dribbles through the deck - all the cards have changed. This is invented by Richard Pinner.

U show the card to the audiance and have someone touch a card.U turn this card over and a cute drawn picture by a kid was shown portraying a card value.U then rub the card on any surface and the card was changed to a real biyclce deck card.
Another effect was that u show the whole deck as a kid drawn deck. But after making some flips, the whole deck will be transform into a normal biycle deck and u show this to the audiance.U make some flips again and the deck wil be transformed back into the kid drawn deck.
One other effect is that by showing the audiance any card he chosen after u fan to him,u will be able to predict the value without much difficulties.
Heres a link to a video demo on the web: Here

Value for money 7.5/10
wow effect:8/10
level:advance

Note:The trick is nearly self-working, and fans of visual card magic will not be disappointed with the cards. The deck cannot be inspected after the show also.

Hey Ming :)

I bought my own deck of Kids Kards during the IF convention... I love it to bits. It's cute and different from the usual gaffed card deck. It looks very attractive too, with all face deisgns individually drawn in kiddie scribbles and all ^_^

I think if you ever want to do card tricks for children, this would be the perfect deck to try.

My two S&S cents worth...
