First welcome.. lol Second you can try to get books like royal road to card magic to learn tricks or like DVD street magic is ok lah covers more card tricks.. but its best for you to get the basic sleights down first.. That is my point of view lah.. build up the basic before getting into effects.. Anywya hope you enjoy your stay here and have fun.. :D

Baisc video you should get like darly card sleight DVD or Some books like magic for dummies and Royal road to card magic.. :D

hi, welcome 2 SMC, 4 a start u can get magic books in kinokuniya or borders, just ask them 4 asst n they'll bring u 2 d shelf...my advice: flip thru those books n buy only those which u can understand some instructions inside, if u totall can't understand anything then it's too professional 4 u liao, other than tat if u don't understand anything fr inside u can bring ur book 2 me, i'll teach u fr d book...but please take note, i don't do cards magic so if u have problems w cards, i can't help except 4 d basic...
