Title: Zombie Ball
Description: THE classic.

I've recently got my zombie ball and have just got about 1 hour of intense practice with it, and I've gotta say, its damn hard to do. Thats right! Then again, if it could be done by just-any-guy, it wouldn't cost 60 buckaroonies now would it.

Patter: No such thing what so ever DURING the routine.

Illusion: @#@%! good.

Practice: Even better!

Now, this is SO SO SO NOT for the noobs. If you are noob, do NOT buy this... You may want a MIRACLE, but this is NOT for you. Go get an invisible deck! Go! SHOO SHOO!

Secret: would make you kill yourself (if you're new to magic) or make you 'lol' 'rofl' 'lmao' non-stop, if you're into magic. So ingenius, so evil, so simple.

Overall rating: 4.5/5. On the whole, its great, but the secret just doesn't match up to my fantasies...

There are many magis out there who know the secret of the Zombie ball and still buy it.

A classic effect, yes. Because it's good. An effect that has stood the test of time and has given rise to many other levitating effects incorporating similar ideas.

$60 is a good buy. I remembered it used to cost around $100 back in the 1980s.

The method in performing a good Zombie routine is to loosen the arms and put more motion in the wrists. Any large motion should start with the ball and foulard followed by an exaggeration in the wrists, then the trailing arm, giving the illusion of a force coming from the ball itself, not the other way round.

Oh, and the thumb can take quite a beating too

Good choice, and good luck with the effect.

hmm.. isn't it true that playing cards are banned in just about all schools? at least, all the secondary schools and junior colleges i know of.

anyway, the Zombie Ball is.. in crude language, l337. it belongs to the 'classics' of magic. i've seen someone do it before, and i was stunned even though i know the secret, just because that gal (yes, a gal) presented it so darn well..

good luck with your routine!

school dosen allow gambling in the first place.. and most teacher assume poker cards are for gambling.. thus banned

Do tricks with blank cards and jokers then. You sure as hell can't gamble with those.
