Yeah a lot of people "cheat" by using this method. Im not stopping anyone, but when the whole flipback fan is executed, i think its more stylish if you extend your fingers a la proper flipback before forming the fan.. and it makes you looks like you got a lot more skill too! haha. But thats just me.. in fact this was the only part of the vid that made me go urrrr.. ok.. nice fan..but oh well. uknowhaddimean.
