Richard Osterlind is a genius! I got a hardcopy of his Breakthrough Card System and it ROCKS!! He was simply brillant, coming up with this stack deck system. :lol:

Mine's an old copy! LOL... video's better i guess, with demo and visuals... but the book works for me too. It's convincing if you can get it down right ;)

Hm... I think I will get bored out if I were to read a book. Don't have patients. I think this DVD is going to be in my wishlist.

Both vids looked very good. But unfortunately both had their center portions edited out, so it's hard to know if it's really what it looks like.

The Radar card looks suspiciously like Mind Power Deck thou.

i thought the watch routine is the time machine but it says can be done with ANY watch. Again did not see the full handling but it's still great...

Would definitely be interested in it.....anybody know how much?

radar deck works the same as mindpower and casandra deck.. it teaches you how to make one in the dvd.. there is actually a discription on the dvd if you scroll to the bottom of the page... volume 1 to 4.

ning, so u r using his breakthrough card system now? 70% of my decks are all stacked using this system... in fact everytime i find a potential deck that i may perform with, i'll stack them if i've got the time. real cool.

i'm also using his spoon bending routine, the most visual bending routine that i've seen. i'm gonna try to mix it with banacheck's routines n make a routine of my own.. hee :D

Yeah... I don't really do card tricks, but his breakthrough card system is amazing! My first deck of Aladins (courtesy of Daryl) are stacked in that way. Great for those psychic mind reading feats!!!! LOL :lol:

Mind Mysteries vol 1-4 I would give it a 6/10

Cos many effects are not worth the money.
I rented from magic castle.
Some effects are not practical.

Breakthru card system.
I did it for my gf once.
I told her to cut the cards as much as she wans.
Then juz take the top2 cards put in her pocket.
Then she spoil the whole trick and kept cutting non stop
even though i never tell her to...
HAHA!

then i juz had to change the whole trick.

i ahve to agree with u jason! his videos are great! very entertaining also...except for the guy who's his "beautiful assistance".....sitting in the front row....quite irritating :P

His BCS is really quite brillant. I think think if we manage the audience well enough it should really pack a punch. I was wondering if I might want to do the blackjack one for CNY.... lol.... perhaps not though.

Hey.. if you dont have his CDs, you're really missing out alot.. his radar deck is super smart.. I would suggest one learn radar deck and femfatal. Integrate them together to make it on the go..(if you get wat i mean) It's the best vid i've gottan. brendan, i'll get the vids sent soon. sorry fer the delay.. i'm in the most trying time of my life since i was a baby ;) lols.. hold in there.. thanks fer everything.

haha a gf heckler? lols.. prob more can be done on audience handling.. let them cut a few times and tell them.. things like.."opps you're spoiling my deck!" then grab it back..most importantly, make it sound likeyou're joking.. have fun ;)

this is rather cliched, i find it rather irritating but its true:

"its always the performer's fault..."

some tips to help u on that particular situation:

1. word it properly (dun make it sound like its impt that they can only cut, and in that way, but ensure they understand)
2. simulate the cut for them (do it once or twice, this ensures they understand, and likely to duplicate it, u can also simulate taking the 2 cards)
3. watch them cut it a few times (correct them if needed, but this make sures they know and do it right)
4. turn away and trust them to cut it a few times and follow instruction (eg. taking the top 2 cards). at this point, rush them, so they only cut a few times (less likely or error), and take the top 2 cards. u then turn back around and proceed.
