anyone working on metal bending here before? like say Liquid Metal?
Have u ever try to do it twice to the same audience?
DARK_LAW
To me you can do some part of it twice and they never notice it lol... :D
You can indeed do it twice. The first time, put a bend in the spoon / fork, the second time, increase the angle of the bend, because some moves do not allow exaggerated bends to be put in with one single move.
You can go thru that flow maybe 3 times max. Be mindful of your patter and any constructive misdirection otherwise the specs may catch on.
For me to be safe any tricks should done only once unless it is a routine patter example "liquid metal tricks" where u use the same fork for the entire routine.
i don't usually do it twice to the audience but that depends.
For the same audience on the same night, hell no.. i'd go on to perform the Closer, or some key bending effects, or nail bending stuffs after the initial Liquid Metal phase.
For the same audience on a different night, oh yes! Seriously, have you ever thought of what a magician do explicitly and memorise it? I don't think anybody does that. If he can remember you finger positionings exactly, how you turn and which way you turn, the brands of forks you use, which bends goes into the fork first, the shirt you way, the dirt in your left index nail, tell me, i treat him/her to dinner.
just joking. Anyway, in short, same night=no. different nights=yes
