This is a very easy to do effect. Cute too.

Basically, the magician will twist a poodle from a chain of beads, the poodle is then put onto a silk. The silk is then folded, with a shake a barking sound can be heard from the poodle.

I bought this not because of the routine but the gadget that makes the barking sound. I did this for my colleage and she was amazed. I believe some of you know what its made of. The gimmick is virtually invisible. I wish the barking sound was louder though. The package comes with the silk, the gimmick and 3 strings of beads for you to make 3 poodles.

The price is on the high side. Retails about US$39.95 in US. Recommeded, but buy it from Japan, its much cheaper.

Probably not an effect in itself, but can be easily integrated with a simple card trick for an fun effect. Should be a hit with kids and girls.
