Hey spiritual, welcome to the Singapore Magic Circle Forum Association of Magicians from Singapore, a.k.a the SMCFAMS. Most people do fine with just the first 3 letters of the acronym, though.

Have fun, learn, contribute... and brush up on your grammar, dude. I don't wanna here about "mi", I wanna hear about "me". Ya dig? :P

Hi there spiritual! Welcome to the Forums! U can start learning and progressing from books. Crappy way to start, but i think this is how many started out before there were DVDs and magic stores.. Dunno. Just my opinion.. B)

Once again, welcome!

Go to the library. Free. They have some good books too.

spiritual - April 2, 2005 12:18 PM (GMT)

Barney - April 2, 2005 01:10 PM (GMT)
Try Library @ Orchard. I started there. But be warned. The good books are hot, so they are always taken..

I believe I just said that.

I think I saw paul wilson's complete intro to magic (can't remember the exact name) or something when i search the OPAC system.

Try searching for it. Just type "MAGIC" in the search column and see the listing.

Place a reservation for the books you are interested in and wait patiently for your turn. It only costs $1.55 for reserving books.

spiritual - April 3, 2005 10:21 AM (GMT)
how much the book

You have problem reading?

Barney - April 3, 2005 06:21 PM (GMT)
Eh. William Wong already told u that it's a LIBRARY. Not a STORE. (Magicdow also did that too.)

Sheesh. What a question to ask.

Btw, do make yourself clear by making plausible, comprehensible and structured sentences. It's of GREAT help to many people (and the whole human race). Thanks.

And one more thing. Define 'cheap bargain ' in your 'I Need Stuffs' post under the Feedback section. Thank you so much.
