why do people want to use new cards for magic...sorry i am quite new to magic so i don't know...and what types of cards will be good to perform magic? :D

Not really new cards for just a performance. Any decent cards will do. it's not a rule, ya. ;)

For magicians, Bicycle would be standard.

Magicians use new cards when having a paid performance to convince the audience that the deck is ungimmicked.This reduces the suspicion of the audience that the deck is gimmicked after effects are performed.

The standard cards should be bicycles.

But any deck goes well with me unless they are beyond reasonable conditions.

hmm seriously you should probably not use too much short forms tho a few would be okay , anyway new cards got that new feel in it and at least a slight bit easier to control .. yups
