Title: Advice Needed On Dvds

I am not sure what videos to get. I am debating between three of them. I am hoping to get one good for beginners like me :g: .

They are
Easy to master card miracles by Micheal Ammar,
Born to perform by Oz Pearlman,
45 with Jay Sankey (DVD),
Jay Sankey's Amazing Magic Tricks Anyone Can Do.

Pls give me your honest opinion becuase i need to really make a descision. Thanx for your help... :g:

Basically, (pun intended),BTP, 45, and AMTACD cover the contemporary stuff, which will be enough for you to practice for about a week and then go out and do some effects. However, if you really wanna bury your magic seed deep into the roots, go with Ammar's series. They cover everything from basic card handling, to some seriously useful sleights, to the self-working no-brainers (gives you more room for presentation), plus there's a gimmicked effect every tape. I'm not saying the other 3 are BAD, but I'd reccomend the Ammar series as a better choice ;)

personally, i dun like jay sankey stuff (guess im biased...).

oz stuff are rather elementary, so i suggest u get ammar's.

he's apparently a great teacher (in a way), focus on theory as well, and teaches almost everything u need to know.

ya...
i guess i more or less agree as i have been hearing a lot of positive comments for ammar's DVDs.
