I've never seen this item but i'd imagine it would go very well with a floating (flash)paper rose to rose routine.

i always think this appearing rose is a stand-alone trick.......but i changed my thinking after watching lance burton did his appearing candle routine...i felt that the concept can be well-applied to appearing rose...i wanted to post the clip here, i found the link to the video on penguin discussion area & downloaded it, but the link is not working anymore...... It's ard 37mb!!!......anyone can tell me how this post it here?

A direct way will be to transform a burning piece of f***** paper into the rose. So you hold the paper between your thumb and forefinger and have the rose p***ed in the same hand. Burn and produce. Very instant production and visual too.

For a floating rose routine, you can easily use a normal rose (pref a real one where you can give away) instead of an appearing rose.

use f**** paper if u wan a good effect...

The easy way to do the f.... paper rose to real paper rose is when u having a candle light dinner with your GF. It works for me.. :P

im trying to be careful to prevent exposure. anyway, its the gimmick that comes with most rose to silk effects, the one where the rose is on the lapel.

its separate effects, but im suggesting a short sequence of effects, where u follow with producing the rose (appearing rose) from the silk. the handling should be having the red silk handing down from the thumb and forefinger of a hand, and when u whisk off the silk, u find the rose.

This is a really neat item...I have seen many magicians use it :)

Ther orginal is from Steve Dusheck..selling for US$18.50...no longer in made...the 'copy version' on the market now seem a little too long & the flower impractical..u need to change it to work...if u can affford, get it from France, Flash Appearing Rose made by Devils for US$45.00.

I like to toss a flash paper with sparks into the air to misdirect the audience while producing the appearing rose & taking the petal burn to transform into a dove.

Shimada has a method where all you need is a pin. No need for gimmicks for a flower to silk effect.
